For the EMEA regions, we amplify our reach and market penetration with a coordinated effort with multiple on-the-ground partners: Partners include 3Vision Distribution out of the UK, IBSBM out of the Netherlands and USMedia out of Germany. Our key marketing strategist is 3 Vision’s Mike McKibbin who headed marketing for ESPN in Europe, Middle East and Africa for 9 years.
Our Mexico and LATAM distribution is spearheaded by Eduardo Caso and LATAM Pictures. Eduardo is based in Mexico City; he is former head of Affiliate Sales for Turner Networks and has extensive personal relationships with many of the CEO’s and acquisition execs of Mexican, Central and South America cable and satellite operators.
Our linear, VOD and OTT partner in this region is David Jones, CEO of Oceanworx. Oceanworx is the current exclusive marketing company both for the Sportel Monaco event and Sportel in general. Besides enjoying excellent relationships with broadcasting platforms in this market, Oceanworx’ client list share names such as: OAKLEY, RED BULL, SWATCH, ADIDAS, BMW, SALOMON, VOLVO, O’NEILL, RIP CURL, NISSAN, TTR, FIS, IFSA, ESWC etc.
Our partner on the ground for most of Asia is MultiChannels Asia. Founded in 2007, MCA is Asia-Pacific’s leading distributor of independent channels, and operates three business divisions, TV channel investment and development, TV channel distribution and project based consultancies.
Our US distribution is coordinated with EJS Media. Ellen Schned of EJS Media runs with over 30 years of experience in the CATV and DTH markets in the US. She is highly regarded as is exemplified by her recent induction into the Cable TV Industry Pioneers. Ellen started her media career as a lawyer for the FCC and has gone on to advise an ever-growing portfolio of US-based TV channels as her clients including CBS Sports and Ovation.
Adrian has a 20-year history in Television and the Telecoms industry. Spanning the globe from California to Eastern Europe, from the United Kingdom to Africa, Adrian’ s efforts have been focused on developing sales and distribution networks for both channels and platform operators, turning around non-performing corporate units and focusing on acquisitions in Europe for large-cap companies in the media and technology sectors. Adrian has worked with Network Holdings, Multichoice, Metromedia International, PacWest Telecom, Simma Media Holdings as well a variety of television channels. Adrian oversees the channel distribution activities globally on a day-to-day basis.
